Andersen Accounting (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates andersenaccounting.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information you provide directly
- Contact form submissions: name, email, phone number, and message content
- Invoice payment information: name, email, and invoice number (payment card details are processed directly by Stripe and never touch our servers)
- Appointment bookings: name, email, phone, and appointment details collected via TidyCal
- Chat conversations: messages you send to our AI assistant or chatbot, including any personal or financial information you choose to share

- Basic usage data through Vercel (page visits, general location, device type)
- Cloudflare security and performance data
Third party services we use
Your data may be processed by these services as part of operating this site:
- Anthropic (Claude API)— powers our AI chat assistant. Chat messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models by default. See anthropic.com/privacy.
- Stripe — processes credit card and ACH payments securely. We never see or store your card details. See stripe.com/privacy.
- TidyCal — manages appointment scheduling. See tidycal.com/privacy.
- Resend — sends transactional emails (receipts, confirmations, notifications).
- Twilio — sends SMS notifications to our office when you request a callback.
- Supabase — stores form submissions, payment records, and appointment logs in a secure database.
- Cloudflare — provides DNS, security, and performance services.
- ElevenLabs — powers voice responses in the Ask Hans feature. Text responses are sent to ElevenLabs to generate audio. See elevenlabs.io/privacy.
Important note about AI chat
When you use our AI chat assistant or Ask Hans feature, your messages are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI. Please do not share sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, full financial account numbers, or passwords in the chat. Use our secure contact form or call the office directly for sensitive communications.
How we use your information

Data retention
- Chat conversations are not permanently stored on our servers
- Contact form submissions and payment records are retained for up to 7 years for tax and business record purposes
- Appointment records are retained for 3 years
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at support@andersenaccounting.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy periodically. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
